DIFC launches new Innovation License

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) has launched a new Innovation License for startups, entrepreneurs, and technology companies.

The new license includes subsidized commercial licensing options starting at USD1,500 per year, as well as access to co-working spaces at DIFC at USD 500 per month. Moreover, the DIFC Innovation License offers up to four visas when renting the first desk space and subsidized visas of up to 50% for innovation firms.

The license is available to all startups, entrepreneurs, and tech companies. It aims to boost entrepreneurship within the country by attracting technology-driven startups and providing them with resources to grow and upscale their innovative business using DIFC’s independent English Common Law based legal and regulatory framework, world-class intellectual property and data protection regime.
